My First Time using Touch Me Skin Care

As a teenager I never really put much effort into my skin care routine. I didn't care about where the ingredients came from or what long term effect it had. I would go for the products that were on sale, the products I recognized from magazines or advertisements, the products that were a quick fix and nothing more. Now that I'm older an much more wiser ;) I realize how important it is to do a little homework before you buy skin care products.

I'm trying my best to be a little more conscious about the products I'm using and I was very happy to receive a few products to test from Touch Me Skin Care, a vegan, 100% organic, cruelty-free skin care company based out of NYC (THANK YOU GUYS!)

I tried the Cool as a Cucumber eye cream, Kiss Me Deadly breath spray, and Balance Me roll on oil.

It took some time for me to get used to the smell. I hate to admit that I'm used to "fake" and artificial scents, so smelling something  this natural and potent was new to me. The cucumber mint eye cream sure felt luxurious, but I wasn't used to the smell of this particular combo. The first night I used the cream under my eyes I wasn't impressed. I didn't notice any visible changes when I woke up but I kept using it to see if anything would happen after using it a bit longer. After a week I noticed the results. My eyes looked refreshed in the morning and my skin was visibly smoother. I got so many compliments I couldn't believe it!

Next up was the Kiss Me Deadly breath spray. I was happy to try it since I have never used a breath spray before.  While I didn't mind the taste, the effects were not long lasting.

My favourite product was the Balance Me oil. Let me tell you...this was one of the best oils I have ever used! I love this so so much :) It's the perfect size for popping in my purse when I'm going out, or in my gym bag for a quick little pick me up. I wasn't familiar with Ylang Ylang, but I was very impressed with this sweet but still earthy smelling oil.

While I'm still getting familiar with vegan, 100% organic, cruelty-free skin care, I highly recommend taking a look at what Touch Me skin care has to offer. There are tons of other awesome stuff on their website if you are interested in vegan skin care products. Check them out at touchmeskincare.com.

Have you tried vegan skin care products? What do you think about them?

  1. I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks. I saw immediate results. My skin has never looked better. It is pricey, however.
