SUBSCRIPTION BOX REVIEW- January 2017 Little Life Box

If you're looking for a healthy lifestyle subscription box, then look no further than the Little Life Box. This subscription has a nice mix of beauty products, snacks, supplements and more! I was sent the January 2017 box to review and it is quickly becoming one of my favourite monthly subscriptions.

Inside was:

Life Candy makeup wedges
Kiju lemonade
Acure facial scrub
GoGo Quinoa 5 grain medley
Pur gum in chocolate mint
Vida grains superfood supplement bar
ConcenTrace electrolyte drops
Honey Bar Sweet & Salty snack bar
Earth's Care skin balm samples
FIBERrific prebiotic fiber samples
Sisu vitamin D3 samples

I was very happy to see the Acure scrub in the box! If you're like me, this winter weather has been wreaking havoc on my skin, and I am in dire need of a good scrub! I really liked that the Acure scrub is vegan, as well as sulfate and paraben free. This French clay based scrub felt very rich and did an excellent job buffing away the dead skin on my face. It came out of the tube very thick but made a very nice lather once you apply it to your wet face. This was JUST what I needed!! There were a few ingredients I wasn't familiar with, but after doing some research, I found out why I loved the results.

My skin was immediately softer, yet supple due to the organic sea kelp, lemon peel and Madonna lily stem cells that are in this scrub. Here are their benefits:

Organic sea kelp-believed to help moisturize and soften skin. It is rich in amino acids and vitamins A, B, C and E.

Lemon peel- contains alpha hydroxy acid and many other vitamins and minerals that contribute to a brighter complexion.

Madonna lily stem cells- active plant stem cells have been shown to decrease dark spots for a more even skin tone and brighter complexion by interfering with the transfer of melanin. Madonna lily has also been shown to help regenerate and increase cellular renewal.

More about the snacks-

My favourite thing about Little Life Box is that there were full sized items as well as samples in this box. This was a great way for me to discover new brands and to enjoy snacks that I would never have purchased on my own at the store.  I was most excited about the Honey Bar since I love discovering new and convenient ways to get some extra energy on the go! It was so delicious and I was surprised to find the perfect balance of honey, nuts, and peanut butter. YUM!! I was very happy with the January Little Life Box. I look forward to discovering new brands and new healthy snacks each month!
