April 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag Review

My current makeup subscription box is from Ipsy. I was a bit skeptical about a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box because I didn't want to end up with a bunch of products I couldn't use or didn't know how to use. Each month you get full size or deluxe-sized products in a cute makeup bag, and I was sold after checking out their previous bags. If you're not very adventurous with makeup like me, it's a great way to build your makeup collection on the cheap and expand your makeup expertise!

The April Ipsy Glam Bag was my favourite one to date! This was the first time I was pleased with every single item in my bag and was very excited to try everything. I got a very cool looking tie dye print bag. Its the perfect size for packing essentials when you need a little overnight makeup bag.

I rate the April Ipsy Glam Bag 5/5!

The products I was most excited about was the sheet masks. As you know I LOOOOOOOOVE facial masks and was so happy when I saw that I was getting 2 in the bag!

2 Pur-Lisse facial sheet mask- I have never heard of Pur-Lisse before and they seem to offer good products that not only work well but are affordable. I was happy to see this brand in my Ipsy bag since I love discovering new brands to love :) I loved the scent of these masks and they did a great job leaving my skin smooth and glowing! Highly recommended!

Luxie Beauty highlighter brush - This brush was very soft and I loved the way it applied my makeup. This was my first experience with the Luxie brand and I was very pleased!

REN skincare day cream- I was very impressed with this cream since I have never heard of the brand and had no idea what to expect. I liked the texture and the way it absorbed into the skin. I wasn't a huge fan of the scent, but it wasn't unbearable. 

Starlooks cream eye shadow- I confess, this is another brand that I have never heard of before. It was a little watery coming out of the tube, but looked great on my skin.

Tarte lip creme in Wonder- I LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour. I'm such a sucker for a nice red lip colour and this Tarte lip creme nailed it!
