May 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag Review

My current makeup subscription box is from Ipsy. I was a bit skeptical about a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box because I didn't want to end up with a bunch of products I couldn't use or didn't know how to use. Each month you get full size or deluxe-sized products in a cute makeup bag, and I was sold after checking out their previous bags. If you're not very adventurous with makeup like me, it's a great way to build your makeup collection on the cheap and expand your makeup expertise!

The May Ipsy Glam Bag was very impressive and I just want to take a moment to talk about the cutest bag I've ever received from Ipsy! This was the first time I got a non-zip bag and the travel theme was simply perfect for any summer travels.

I was very pleased with every single item in my bag and was so excited to try them all.

In my bag:
Glam Glow SuperMud clearing mask
Eva NYC Hungry Hair oil treatment
Bella Pierre Cosmetics Gel lip liner pencil
Vera Mona Eye smudger brush
Smashbox X-Rated mascara

I rate the May Ipsy Glam Bag 5/5! (Plus bonus stars for the super cute bag!!)

The product I was most excited about was the Glam Glow SuperMud. As you know I LOOOOOOOOVE facial masks and was so happy when I saw that I was getting Glam Glow in the bag!

More about the products inside:

Glam Glow SuperMud clearing mask- I am a huge fan of Glam Glow products and the SuperMud did not disappoint. It went on smooth and my face felt super clean after the treatment. HIGHLY recommended!

Eva NYC Hungry Hair oil treatment- I don't know about you but my hair DRINKS oil. My chemically treated hair was very happy to get this sample. It smelled great and really made my hair feel soft and more manageable. I will buy the full size for SURE :)

Bella Pierre Cosmetics Gel lip liner pencil- I usually don't use liner pencils, so this was a nice treat! I am happy to get the chance to use such a useful product. I liked the colour and formula but I'm unsure if this will be added to my beauty routine just yet!

Vera Mona Eye smudger brush- While I didn't NEED a new smudger brush, I was happy to get this Vera Mona brush since I love how soft they are. Ain't nothing wrong with more brushes!!!

Smashbox X-Rated mascara- I LOVE LOVE LOVE Smashbox. I was very happy to get this mascara since my current SB mascara is almost done. Perfect timing Ipsy!

What did you get in your May Glam Bag? I'd love to hear from you!
