My first time using Flying Wild

My current skin care obsession that I'd like to share with you is the Flying Wild skin care line. Their products are made from pure organic non-toxic ingredients and I was immediately drawn to their philosophy of simplicity. There's just so much chemicals and harmful additives in almost everything we use and eat, and it's refreshing to find companies that actually care about what we put on our skin.

I got to try the body balm, foot balm, hand balm and rosemary lip balm (Thanks Flying Wild team!) and I am so impressed with the results.

My favourite product is the body balm. I wish I had smell-o-vision so you could smell how delicious this balm is! It's a bit gooey when it comes out of the bottle and it took a bit of work to spread on the skin. Even though the body balm didn't spread as well as I would have liked, the extra effort was well worth it. My skin felt super soft! I was very surprised that the strong scent that it had when coming out of the bottle was very subtle after I rubbed it in. I liked to use the body balm after an evening shower and my skin still felt smooth the next day! I was very happy about that :)

The rosemary lip balm was a bit strange to me at first. I have never used lip balm with rosemary in it and I wasn't sure if I liked it. After using it, I noticed my lips were actually much softer than when I use commercial lip balms.

The hand balm and foot balm both had a wonderful fragrance. I did notice that the balms filled in the little cracks in my hands and feet and the moisture lasted all day! If you have really dry hands and feet like I do, I suggest you check these balms out for yourself!

I loved reading about the ingredients they use and most importantly, the ingredients they DON'T use.

Below is a list of common personal care ingredients they recommend that you avoid, and their suspected impact on your health. You will never find any of these in Flying Wild products.

  • DMDM hydantoin and Imidazolidinyl urea - Toxic contaminants
  • Synthetic Fragrance and Dyes - Allergies, cancer, nervous system
