My First Time using Mona Botanicals

Once in a while I like to use a good sugar scrub to get all the dead skin that regular cleansing sometimes missed. I prefer all natural body scrubs and I feel like my skin (my legs in particular) respond better to products that don't contain harsh chemicals. Yesterday, I pampered my skin with these amazing products from Mona Botanicals. A huge THANK YOU to the Mona Botanicals team for sending me these products to review. I tried the blood orange coconut body scrub, rose neroli face oil, and face mist.

I love the fragrance of the face oil and face mist. Scented with therapeutic essential oils of Bulgarian Rose Otto and Egyptian Neroli, they are light, sweet and floral. HEAVENLY!

I can't tell you enough how much I love the sugar scrub. I started with a nice warm bath and exfoliated my skin with the body scrub. This isn't just your average scrub! The oils made the formula so rich and easy to spread. I don't like when scrubs feel like my skin is getting buffed with sandpaper, but this scrub felt really nice and my skin just drank in all the moisture! To my surprise I didn't even need to use lotion after my bath. My skin felt so supple and moisturized, even until the next day!

I was very impressed with this brand and the ingredients that are used. I was surprised to learn that the items are handmade and I appreciate that organic, toxin free ingredients go into every product.

My favourite product, the blood orange coconut body scrub only has ingredients you can actually pronounce like:

Organic raw sugar, Organic brown sugar, Organic virgin coconut oil, Organic vanilla beans, Organic cardamom, Organic cinnamon sticks, Organic blood orange essential oil

How awesome is that?!

There are so many awesome products that I'd really love to include in my daily skin care routine. Take a look at the Mona Etsy page at https://www.etsy.com/shop/MonaBotanicals if you want to learn more.

What's your favourite body scrub? I'd love to hear from you!
