My First Time using RYOR from Our Happy Box

My current skin care obsession is from Our Happy Box and I'm so excited to share a few of my faves with you! I'm always on the hunt for new products that keep my skin moisturized and looking its best, so when I was sent some samples, the hemp correction cream, soothing serum, and mattifying cream I was intrigued. A huge thanks to the OHB team for spoiling me with these goodies!

My skin care routine is pretty simple and I have a fondness for multitasking products. 

Hemp cream- I never knew that hemp could be so beneficial in skin care! I was intrigued and I couldn't wait to try it :) This hemp cream contains precious cannabidiol (CBD) and hyaluronic acid which provides ample skin hydration. It has a fantastic fragrance and the formula worked well with my combination skin. This left my skin looking matte, but still moisturized. I used this over a serum and really liked how my skin looked prepped for makeup or fresh faced for the day!

Mattifying cream- I have never used RYOR products before and I was curious about what "mattifying" actually meant. I was pleasantly surprised! The RYOR mattifying cream with powder-effect does exactly like it sounds. After cleansing, I put a small amount all over my face and was stunned to see that it was like putting a high end primer on my face. I've never felt anything like it. It made my skin powdery soft- like a Snapchat filter without the filter LOL. I was hooked! My only qualm is that it did nothing to help with the dry skin on my nose, so I just avoided putting the mattifying cream there. But everywhere else was A-OK!! This is a truly innovative product, and if you're like me and don't like to wear makeup too often, this cream gives you that made up look without actually having to do anything. I can't tell you enough how much I love this cream!

Soothing Serum- I thought the formula was a bit watery than most serums I've used, but it did spread well and absorb quickly. This serum has many fantastic ingredients- one of them being seaweed. Did you know that seaweed offers superior hydration and anti-inflammatory benefits? I love products that have seaweed, sea kelp and algae because there are too many benefits to name so I'll save that for another day!! LOL!

I was very happy with these products from Our Happy Box and will definitely order more when these goodies are finished. In the short time I've been using these products, I've seen fantastic results and I love products that make me look fabulous with such little effort *teeheee!!
